Brief Details of the Accident :

Train arrived at BPB station at 12.25 hrs on Line No1. While attaching banking Engine- 40091 WDP4D(SGUJ) with the 03174 Kanchenjunga express (Agartala-Lumding-Sealdah) special train, as section ahead was hill section, loco Pilot of the banker engine could not control the speed of the Engine while attaching it to the train because of which bumping took place. As result causing falling down of a few (25 ) passengers travelling in the SLR of the train. They were given immediate medical attention and no grievous injury was found on any passenger. 25 passenger were having minor injury, for which medical attention was given to all of them. After getting medical attention All these passengers resumed their journey by the same train. SLRD-09707 got damaged . No derailment to the train.
